Canadian Institute of Professional Accountants
The Canadian Institute of Professional Accountants is incorporated federally with chapters in the following provinces of Canada: British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario.
The Institute is a professional organization for the ongoing education and setting of qualifying standards to ensure the competence of its members in the practice of accountancy.
Members meet in regional and national sessions during each year to ensure knowledge of current accounting standards and tax regulations.
To provide and maintain a central organization for the promotion of efficiency, progress and general development among persons employed in the accounting business, with a view not only to their own advantage but to that of rendering the conduct of such business more effective, safe and scientific, and securing and justifying the confidence of the public and employers.
